My complete name is Sofia Roncayoli Lombardi or (Suosuo or 索明慧). I was born in Argentina and I moved to China in 2013.
I started learning chinese traditional painting in Argentina, before moving to China I studied at the National University of Art from Argentina (UNA) for a few years.
In Argentina I was preselected for the Prilidiano Pueyrredon Art Award and I took part of many exhibitions ( National Decorative Museum, Recoleta Cultural Center, Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires, etc. )Spending most of my childhood visiting museums and observing the work of many artists developed in me a passion for art.
I felt in love with Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy, I attended to several classes in Jilin University of Arts with Professor Zhu Chen and Liang Jingdong. I like to use this technique in my own style but trying to respect the Philosophy that it involves.
One of the Chinese artists that influenced me most was Shi Tao and his "One stroke theory". I also admire the work of Chinese contemporary artists like 王公and 贺慕君.
In 2017 I took part of the International Silk Road Art Exhibition in Xi'an and also in the "International Contemporary Art Exhibition in Songyang.
Nowadays I'm working in a project with other artists about gender violence.
